Raghunathpur Khelaghar

The trend among the local populace articulates a preference for sending their children to a good and happy school. The immense eagerness to do so is apparent in the admission process every year. More than 300 parents from Raghunathpur and the surrounding villages queue up since 7 pm the day before admission for about 90 seats. We have had to seek help from the Kulpi police station to manage the crowd. Police intervention to control crowds seeking admission is unusual in a primary school in South Bengal. This can be seen from an optimistic viewpoint where the deep aspiration of the parents is prompting them to secure the future of their children.

Raghunathpur Khelaghar has built its own history of promoting inter-religious bonding with the help of education. Our method of teaching has made the institution increasingly popular in the Muslim majority area for over two decades.
