Dance Performance at Asian Youth Festival

Asian Youth Festivals 2012 & 2017

345 young people in the age group 13 – 19 yrs, drawn from the weakest sections of society from 17 states in India and 4 Asian countries, were invited to Kolkata to showcase the power of youth and re-affirm their faith in human good. Young Men’s Welfare Society hosted a Youth Festival in 2012, and again on the occasion of its Golden Jubilee, in 2017.

The Asian Youth Festivals provided an arena for the young minds to wander, question and share. Over the seven days we witnessed happiness and fulfilment on every face. The programme included three evenings of cultural extravaganzas showcasing our rich heritage. Some performances highlighted social issues.
